European data centre exposed stocks slide on rumoured pause in Amazon lease talks

** Shares of European companies exposed to data centres fall after Wells Fargo analysts on Monday said, citing industry sources, that Amazon.com AMZN has paused some data centre lease talks for its AWS cloud division, particularly overseas

** "Schneider is the most exposed, but so is Legrand, and to a less degree ABB and Siemens," Redburn Atlantic analyst James Moore says

** "Like Microsoft MSFT , AWS is rumoured to be digesting lease deals and not signing new deals," Moore adds

** Electrical equipment maker Schneider Electric SU falls 3.3% to the bottom of France's CAC 40 PX1 blue-chip index

** Industrial groups Legrand LR and ABB ABBN are down 2.7% and 3% respectively

** Germany's Siemens SIE is less impacted, falling 1.1%
